Hampton Court - Feng Shui Garden

Presenting the 'Feng Shui garden' which won the RHS Silver Gilt Medal in 1999 at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show
The garden design was overlaid with and influenced by the Feng Shui Bagua and was entered via a unique hand-made green oak Moon Gate created by James Showers.
In  the northern area of the garden a circular pool containing a specially commisioned, bronze diving woman called 'Free Spirit' made by sculptress Janis Ridley.
The central 'Tai Chi void' area was represented by a naturalistic spring flowing through and over harlequin quartzite boulders surrounded by a display of ornamental grasses and flowering summer bulbs.

This garden was a star of the show that year and caught the attention of both the media and the public!
